They excel at booking budget-friendly hotels that have top-notch amenities. As per my request, they arranged activities and tours that suited my interests—which is their speciality. Plus, they can also organise a leisurely family retreat, which is a bonus.
Mirango’s pricing is also generally reasonable, especially considering they offer complete packages with flights, accommodation, transport, and itineraries. You can also request a local guide if you prefer.
However, Mirango Travel focuses only on trips to Vietnam, Laos, and Cambodia. I wish they offered similar tailor-made tours to other destinations in Asia.

I was also impressed with Efly AG’s prompt customer service. They answered emails swiftly and their phone support was courteous and efficient. They also made sure to give me travel advice while taking the time to understand what I wanted out of my planned getaway.
It’s a good thing that Efly AG has solid customer service because their website doesn’t provide much information and the layout is somewhat confusing. This leaves you no choice but to get in touch with them personally, either by phone or email.
When you do get in touch with them, you’ll be pleasantly surprised by the destinations they cover. Their specialisation is Asian countries, but they also offer getaways to Europe, the Americas, and parts of Africa. From what we’re told, their Asian packages are the best.

Aside from that, they ask you detailed questions about the getaway you want and deliver an experience that matches your expectations, which I truly appreciate.
They even have a partnership with Surfari Surf Shop, so gear won’t be a problem.
What surprised me about Surfwise is their affordable packages. At CHF 2,660, you can enjoy their 10-day Maldives Surf Boat Trip aboard the Horizon II, and it’s certainly worth it—especially if you opt for the group package.
The downside is that popular surfing destinations—for instance, Nosara in Costa Rica and Jeffrey’s Bay in South Africa—tend to fill up quickly.
In fact, a friend mentioned they had to book three months in advance to secure their dream surf getaway.
